Egg and Sausage Quiche
- One 9" pastry pie crust
- 8 oz. bulk pork sausage
- 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Swiss Cheese
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups light cream or milk
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Line 9" pie plate with pastry and flute edge. DO NOT PRICK. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
In skillet, cook sausage and drain. Sprinkle hard boiled eggs in bottom of pie shell. Top with sausage and cheese.
Combine beaten eggs, cream OR milk, salt and pepper. Pour over mixture in pie shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
