Beef Parmesan

Ingredients

  • oil
  • 1 lb. cube steak cut in 6-8 pieces
  • 2 eggs
  • bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. peeper
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Dip steak into eggs and then crumbs.

Preheat oven to 300

Brown in oil then place in baking dish

In remaining oil add onion and saute for a couple minutes.

Add to pan tomato paste, water, sugar, salt and pepper.

Simmer 5 min.

Pour half of the sauce mixture over steak.

Sprinkle with 1 - 2 cups of cheese.

Pour remaining sauce over cheese.

Bake for 1 1/2 hours
