Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon water
- 16 peeled and de-veined shrimp
- 1 teaspoon canola oil (or cooking spray)
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Step 1
1. Combine salt, chili flakes, chili powder, cumin, black pepper (optional: add water to form a paste). Rub shrimp with paste until well coated.
2. Heat a large sauté pan to medium high heat. Add canola oil (or cooking spray) and sear shrimp for 1 minute per side. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add tequila, cilantro and lime juice and sauté for 1 minute.
For large group, 1/2 side in saute pan. Finish at 450 degrees for 5 minutes.
