  • 1 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Firmly packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup unsalted chopped cashews
  • toasted**
  • 1/2 Cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 Cups flaked coconut toasted ***
  • 1 Quart Jar with Tight fitting lid.

** toasting cashews, spread in a single layer in heavy-buttered skillet. Cook over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until nuts are lightly browned. Remove from skillet immediately. Cool before using.

1. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Pour into 1 quart wide mouth jar pack down firmly.
2. Place brown sugar and granulated sugar into separate resealable plastic bags. Forcing air from bags before sealing. Layer bags in jar. Pack down firmly before adding each bag. Layer cashews and chocolate chips attractively. Pack down firmly before adding each layer. Layer coconut last, packing down lightly as needed seal jar.
3. Cover top of jar with fabric, Attach gift tag/recipe with raffia or ribbon.
