Ingredients

  • Mushroom Gravy:
  • 8 oz Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 Tbsp + 2 Tsp Onion Finely Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Saltine Cracker Crumbs
  • 1/2 Egg White, Lightly Beaten
  • 1 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Prepared Horseradish
  • 1/8 Tsp Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Beef Gravy
  • (12oz Jar = 1 1/2cups)
  • 2 oz Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Water

Step 1

In Medium bowl combine Salisbury steak ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly, shape into oval patties (1 for each serving) about 1/2 inch thick. Heat a large non-stick skillet and cook 7 to 8 minutes or until no longer pink and juices run clear, turning once. Remove from skillet and keep warm, Into same skillet, combine the gravy ingredients and cook over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Serve over salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. (if desired)
