  • 2 batches pizza crust
  • 3/4 pound sausage
  • 1 can seasoned sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup romano cheese, shredded

Step 1

1. Make dough.

2. Crumble sausage into lg. skillet and cook over medium heat; cook until browned. Set aside to cool.

3. Preheat oven to 500F. Lightly grease a baking sheet. Sprinkle work surface with 1/2 cup flour. Turn dough onto surface and coat with flour. Roll each part to make a 10 inch round; brush lightly with oil. Top half of each round with 4 TBS tomoato sauce, sausage, and cheeses. Moisten edges and fold dough over to enclose filling. Seal calzones with fork tines; pierce each with fork and brish with oil. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake until golden brown. 8-9 minutes.
