Cheesy Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 14 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan over medium heat melt butter and add garlic. Add flour and stir for 2 min. until a thick paste starts to form. Keep stirring so it won't taste too floury and scorch in the pan.Whisk in the milk and continue to stir until the paste turns smooth.Add the tomato sauce,spices and cheese. Stir on low heat unti the sauce becomes thick and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over pasta.
