Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, finely minced
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 qt milk
  • 1 c chicken stock
  • 1 T parsley
  • 1/2 t celery salt
  • 1/2 t mace
  • dash red pepper
  • cracked pepper, salt to taste
  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 T cold water
  • 1/4 c dry sherry

Step 1

Cook onion in butter until transparent Add chicken stock and slowly pour in milk. Add parsley, celery salt, mace, pepper & salt. Stir in crab meat and simmer 10 mins. Make a thin paste with flour & water. Stir into soup tothicken slightly. Before serving, remove from heat and stir in sherry.
