Ingredients
- 8- 12 lb turkey
- 2 small oranges
- 2 whole cinn sticks
- 1 whole clove
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 T EVOO
- 1 T ground cumin
- 1 t paprika
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 1/2 t tumeric
- 1 T salt
- 1 1/2 c chicken stock...more if needed

Step 1
Preheat 325. Clean out cavity, rinse and at dry. Place on roasting rack. Poke a small hole in oranges and place inside bird. Add to cavity bay leaf, clove and cinn sticks. tie legs together. Rub bird with oil. Combine spices and rub mixture on bird. Pour stock into pan. Roast 2 1/2 hours basting every 20 minutes with drippings. If pan dries out add 1/2 c at a time. Thermometer should read 175 at thickest part of thigh.
