Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh broccoli
- 1 10oz. pkg. frozen broccoli1 stick butter 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 cup flour
- 1 qt. chicken stock
- 1 8oz. block of velveeta cut in cubes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 qt. 1/2 & 1/2

Step 1
steam the brocolli in 1/2 cup water for 10 min. chop first-do not drain-
melt butter and saute onion-add flour to make roux and cook 2 to 4 min. till hot-add chicken stock and cheese and whisk well-bring to boil and simmer 15 min. add salt, pepper, and 1/2 and 1/2 and heat up do not boil
