Ingredients
- Sift together:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine

Preparation
Step 1
Mix ingredients as for pie crust. Add 1 egg yolk beaten and milk to make 2/3 cups.
Dough handles better if chilled. Divide dough in half. Roll half of dough to cover bottom and part way up sides of 15"x10" pan.
Layer #2 - 1 cup graham cracker crumbs.
Layer #3 - 5 cups apples, 1 1/2 cups sugar (less for ripe apples)
1 tsp. cinnamon
Layer #4 - crust. Brush with a little egg white.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Frost while warm with 1 cup confectioner's sugar and 2 tbsp. lemon juice.
