Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 3 tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder

Preparation
Step 1
Place chicken between two sheets of wax paper and pound to 1/4 inch thick.
In a large bowl combine flour, salt, garlic powder and black pepper.
Add chicken to flour mixture and toss to coat.
Heat 2 tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken 3-5 minutes per side or until done. Remove from skillet.
Add mushrooms and remaining oil, if needed. Saute 2-3 minutes. Stir in the wine, broth, basil and onion powder, stir to loosen any browned particles; bring to a boil. Return the chicken to pan. Simmer, uncovered, 2 minutes.
