Turkey Chili

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground turkey
- 4 tbsp. oilive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3/4 cup red wine
- 4 cups tomato sauce
- 1 red papper, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2-15 oz. can black beans, rinsed, drained
- 1 7oz can chipotle peppers in adobe sauce (2 pepper)
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tblsp. cocoa powder
- 1 heaping tblsp. peanut butter (optional)
- salt
- fresh ground pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In a very large pot heat oil, meat, and onions until brown.
Add wine and deglaze, scraping up bits from the bottom of the pan
Add tomato sauce, garlic, bell pepper and stir
Add beans, cumin, oregano, cocoa powder and peanut butter
Add chipotle peppers and adobe sauce to taste...1/2 to a whole can depending on how HOT you like chili
cover and cook over low heat for approximately 30 minutes, stirring throughout
Uncover and add salt and pepper to taste
Continue cooking for another 15-30 minutes on low or until you are ready to eat.
Optional... serve with grated cheese or sour cream.
