Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c small pasta (ditalini)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 c celery, sliced
- 1 c meatless sauce (OR 1/2 c tomatoes)
- 1 qt warm water
- 1 can cooked white kidney beans with liquid (or strained) (2 c)
- grated parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in large sauce pan.
Add salt, pork, ham, etc.
Cook for a few minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon or fork.
Add onions, celery, and garlic and brown well.
Add meatless sauce or tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
Stir and cook for 10 minutes.
Add water and beans and bring to a boil.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Stir in pasta (you may cook pasta separately) and boil uncovered for 1 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Stir frequently to prevent pasta from sticking.
Serve topped with cheese.
