Honey Mustard Salmon

  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1 tbs br. sugar
  • 2 tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbs olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 4 salmon fillets

Step 1

Pre heat the oven to 400 degrees. Combine butter and brown sugar in sauce pan and heat until butter and sugar are melted together. Stir in the mustard, honey and soy sauce.

Heat oil in oven proof skillet over high heat. Season fillets with salt and pepper. Pan sear fillets by placing flesh side down in skillet. Cook about 4 minutes. (This will produce moist flesh with a lovely crust.) Turn fish over and brush with half the glaze finish cooking in oven for 5 minutes. Salmon should be firm and flaky. Remove and brush with more sauce.
