Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 (recipe can be doubled in order to use entire pkg. of phyllo)
In large skillet saute; beef, onion, and garlic. Add curry powder and saute 4 more mins. Add; seasoned salt, pepper, thyme, tomato paste, and olives. Simmer covered for 30 mins. Let mixture cool. Melt butter in microwave safe measuring cup. Unroll phyllo dough and cut into 1 1/2" -2" wide strips (use maybe 3 thin sheets to create strips). Work with small amount at a time and don't let dough dry out, cover with damp towel. Take one strip at a time and brush with melted butter. Place 1 tsp. meat mixture at end of dough strip and fold corner over. Continue folding like a flag retaining triangular shape. Brush outside of triangle with butter. Continue with remainder strips and meat. Chill about 1 hr. covered with plastic wrap. Place on shallow cooking sheet and bake for 15-20 mins. or until golden brown.
