Beef and Bean Dish

Brown ground beef, then cook bacon until crisp
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 lb bacon, cut in small pieces
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 (15 ounce) can lima OR butter beans....drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can pork and beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Icebox Mashed Potatoes

Cover potatoes with water in deep stockpot; add bouillon and garlic salt
- 5 lbs. baking potatoes, peeled and halved
- 2 t. chicken bouillon granules
- 1/2 t. garlic salt
- 16-oz. container low-fat sour cream
- 8-oz. pkg. reduced-fat cream cheese
- 2 t. onion powder
- 2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 2 T. butter, sliced
Barbecue Lasagna

In a large skillet, cook beef with half of the onions and drain
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, divided in half & chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- 6 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 egg
Caramel-Apple Upside-Down Cake
