- 1 package frozen frencch cut green beans 10 oz. defrosted
- 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
- bunch of scallions, finely chopped (stalks)
- 3 Tbls butter
- 1 tsp chicken seasoned stock base
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- (vege-salt)

Cream sugar, shortening, vanilla, eggs until smooth
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup shortening (butter makes them greasy)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsps vanilla

- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecan or walnut)

- 1 1/2 quarts mayonnaise
- 1 pint sour cream
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- grated peel of 1/4 of a lemon, approximately 2 tablespoons
- 3/4 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 3/4 tablespoon coarse ground pepper
- 3/4 pound crumbled blue cheese
- 12 ounces honey
Mushrooms in Wine sauce

- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chile sauce
- 1 tablespoon Escoffier Diable Sauce (available in any specialty market)
- 1/2 teaspoon flour
- Pinch dried marjoram
- Pinch dried thyme
- 4 drops Tabasco sauce
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 5 ounces dry red wine
- 1 bouillon cube, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- Minced parsley
