1. Preheat the oven to 350
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teas vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teas baking powder
- 1/4 teas baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
- 10 tblsp crumb mix
Classic Creme Brulee

This is my favorite Creme Brulee recipe
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tblsp sugar
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
BBQ Chili Mac

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepepr
- 1 pound cavatappi pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, ribs and seeds removed,chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup bbq sauce (neely's recipe if possible)
- One 14oz can crushed tomatoes
- One 28oz can diced tomatoes in juice
- One 15oz can ranch style pinto beans
- Dash of hot sauce, preferably tabasco
- Green onions, sliced, for garnish
- Sour cream, for garnish
- Grated Cheddar Cheese, for garnish
Chocolate Chip Cookie Remix Truffle

1. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and set aside
- 15 store bought chocolate chip cookies (chips ahoy)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (light)
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chopped into pieces
- 3/4 cup milk or dark mini chocolate chips

Sausage Patties

Grinding sausage is its own reward that will yield meat for breakfast or for dinner for months to come
- 2 lbs cold pork butt or shoulder, cut into long stips 2 inches wide
- 8 oz cold, hard pork fatback, cut into 1 to 2 inch strips
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tblsp dried fennel
- 1 teas dried rosemary
- 1 teas dried sage
- 1 to 2 tblsp kosher salt

- 1 (.25 oz) package active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 1 1/2 cups ripe mashed bananas (about 4)
