This recipe makes about three times as much filling as dough
- Pastry Dough:
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) unsalted butter, room temperature
- Filling and Cookies:
- 9 ounces dried Mission figs, stems discarded
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 large egg, beaten to blend

- Leftover turkey; white & dark meat

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 TB lght corn syrup
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 2 1/2 cups (about 5 dozen) vanila wafers, finely crushed
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped

- 2 cups unbleached flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 stick butter, at room temp
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz white chocolate, melted with 1 tsp shortening
- 1/2 cup finely chopped candy canes

- 2 cups cooked penne pasta
- 1/4 cup butter
- l large onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup flour
- 14 oz chicken broth
- 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 7 oz jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
- 4 oz crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup oil-packed sun dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/3 cup pitted Greek olives, sliced
- 2 TB minced parsley

- Cake:
- 1 cup (2 sticks)butter, at room temp
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups unbleached flour
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup minced dried cranberries
- 1 1/2 oz white chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup minced crystallized ginger
- Frosting:
- 8 oz cream cheese, at room temp
- 3 TB butter, at room temp
- 1 cup plus 3 TB powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp grated lemon zest
- pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup minced dried cranberries
- Drizzle:
- 1 oz white chocolate
- 1/4 powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp milk
Zucchini and Potato Bake

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 2 medium zucchini, quartered and cut into large pieces
- 4 medium potatoes, cut into large chunks
- 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- paprika
- salt and pepper
- OPTIONAL: Can add 1/2 cup grated parmesan to the breadcrumbs
