Roasted Red Pepper and Walnut Dip

For best results, make this dip a day ahead to let the flavors mellow and blend
- 3 red bell peppers (about 1 pound)
- One 6-inch pita bread (2 ounces)
- 1 cup water
- 1 small garlic clove
- 4 ounces walnut pieces (about 3/4 cup), toasted, plus more for garnish
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika, plus more for garnish (optional)
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Creamy Vanilla-Caramel Cheesecake

1. Heat oven to 300°F. Spray springform pan, 9x3 inches, with cooking spray

Grilled Fish Sandwich with Cabbage Slaw

Grilling fish is easy -- just follow our pointers and you're sure to get great results
- 4 cups shredded green cabbage (from head cabbage)
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1 celery stalk, thinly sliced
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seed
- Vegetable oil, for grilling
- 4 striped bass fillets (or other firm-fleshed fish, such as tuna, tilapia, or salmon), 4 to 6 ounces each
- 8 thick slices sandwich bread, such as brioche or country-style white
Plum Pudding

Plum pudding can be made anywhere from a few weeks to a year in advance and allowed to ripen in a cool place
- 1/2 pound dried currants, plumped with 2 tablespoons cognac and enough hot water to cover
- 1/2 pound dried raisins, finely cut
- 1/4 pound candied kumquats, finely diced
- 1/4 pound glazed orange peel, finely diced
- 1/4 pound glazed lemon peel, finely diced
- 1/4 pound citron, finely diced
- 1/2 pound walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, room temperature
- 2 packages cream cheese (8 ounces each), room temperature
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons mango chutney
- 1 cup toasted pecans

Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Pie

- Crust:
- 1 pkg Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Bars -
- crushed ( use a food processor )
- reserve 10 for the filling
- 1 T sugar
- 3/4 stick butter
- Melt butter and mix sugar and crumbs
- together to form crust in a 10" deep
- spring-form pan.
- Chocolate coating for crust.
- 8 oz. of semisweet chocolate morsels
- Filling: for 2 batches
- 2 8 oz. peanut butter
- 2 1/2 2 1/2 cup powdered sugar

- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 ounce bitter sweet chocolate, broken into small chunks
