Macaroni Salad ala Grandma Kikukawa

Cool macaroni. Add seasonings, peas, and crabmeat
- 1 box macaroni, cooked
- 2 c mayonnaise
- 1 packet imitation crabmeat
- 1 c frozen peas, defrosted
- salt & pepper, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- OPTIONAL: cooked diced potatoes
- diced celery, diced onion, grated
- carrots, diced hard boiled eggs
Crunchy Potato Mounds

In a small bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, honey and 2 tablespoons mayonnaise until smooth
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup mayonnaise, divided
- 3-1/2 cups crushed cornflakes
- 2 cups cold homemade mashed potatoes (without added milk and butter)
- 2 cups finely chopped fully cooked ham
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
Carrots, Maple Glazed Balsamic

Combine first 6 ingredients in skillet
- 1 lb carrots, sliced in strips
- 1/2 c beef broth
- 1/4 c maple syrup
- 2 T butter
- 1/8 t salt
- 1/8 t fresh ground pepper
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
Golden Glow Salad - Dessert

Dissolve jello in boiling water; add pineapple juice
- 1 pkg lemon or lime jello
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 c pineapple juice
- 1 T vinegar
- 1 c diced pineapple (drained)
- 1 c shredded raw carrots
- 1/2 t salt
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 T salad dressing
- 1 T confectioners sugar
- cherry juice
- pineapple juice
Sweet Cinnamon Biscuits

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl and mix well
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 8 Tbsp butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup milk, optional
Potato Salad with Peppers & Onions, Idaho

For salad: Boil potatoes in lightly salted water
- Mustard Vinaigrette:
- 4 medium Idaho potatoes, peeled
- 3/4 cup mustard vinaigrette (recipe follows)
- 1 medium yellow or orange pepper
- 1 medium onion
- coarse salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp mustard with 1 Tbsp water
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 cups olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Grapes, Frosted

Brush or dip grape clusters into a mixture of water and corn syrup
- 1 T water
- 1 t light corn syrup
- sugar
- grapes
Carrots, orange glazed

Combine first 7 ingredients and 1/2 c water in skillet
- 2 lbs. mini carrots
- 1/4 c light brown sugar
- 1/4 c orange juice
- 3 T butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 2 scallions, sliced, 1/2 c
- 1/4 t grated orange zest
Chicken, Shredded Italian

Combine chicken and dressing in crockpot and cook 6-8 hours on low
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 8 oz. bottle Italian dressing
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c chicken broth
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 t dried basil
- 1/2 t dried thyme
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Green Bean Casserole

Fill skillet with 1/2" water
- 2 lbs. green beans, trimmed
- 2 T butter
- 1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
- 10 oz. pkg sliced mushrooms
- Salt & pepper
- 3 T flour
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1 c heavy cream
- 1/2 c crushed potato chips
