1. Dust the veal shanks lightly with flour
- 2 * 2 pounds veal shanks, cut into short lengths
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 * 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 * 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 * 1 large carrot, chopped
- 2/3 * 2/3 cup dry white wine
- 2/3 * 2/3 cup beef stock
- 1 * 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes

- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 to 5 teaspoons chili garlic sauce, such as Sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- EGG MIXTURE:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- BREADING MIXTURE:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- FOR FRYING:
- 8 to 12 cups vegetable oil
