- Crust:
- 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
- 5 tbsp butter, melted
- Filling:
- 3 packages (8 ounce each) cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 2 ounces (2 squares) semisweet chocolate, melted
- Frosting:
- 6 ounces (6 squares) semisweet chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup sour cream

Cherry Garcia Ice Cream

Many of the recipes in "Ben and Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book" call for uncooked eggs
- 1/4 cup shaved plain chocolate (Hershey's Special Dark chocolate candy bar is suggested)
- 1/4 cup fresh Bing cherries, halved and pitted
- 2 large eggs (see note about using raw eggs before preparing this recipe!!!)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy or whipping cream
- 1 cup milk

Crust: Combine all ingredients, press into 9-inch pie plate and bake at 350 F for 10 minutes

Vaquero (Cowboy) Migas

Migas are the Mexican version of scrambled eggs with crispy fried corn tortilla chips mixed in
- 10 yellow or white corn tortillas
- Vegetable oil
- 12 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or a good Mexican white is preferred)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped firm, ripe tomato
