- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup Guinness draught stout
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup low-fat buttermilk
- Chocolate Guinness Sauce:
- 1/4 cup Guinness draught stout
- 4 tbsp light or dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Chocolate Ganache Glaze:
- 10 ounces (1 1/4 cups) heavy whipping cream
- 10 ounces semisweet dark chocolate chips or dark chocolate bar broken into small pieces
