In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar (1/2 cup) and salt
- Glaze:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 (4 ounce) packet Fleischman's yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 3/4 cup milk, lukewarm
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 tsp orange juice
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
- Toasted almonds, optional

- 1 (64 ounce) bottle purple 100 percent grape juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
