- 1 (3 1/2-4 lb) whole chickens (or a small turkey)
- 1/4 cup margarine (use hard stick margarine only not soft tub)
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons liquid honey
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (use lime juice only, not lemon juice)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt (more for inside of cavity)
- black pepper
- 1 small whole lemon (optional but good to use)
Vegetable Noodle Soup

- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 rib celery, sliced (about 1 cup)
- 1 medium carrot, sliced (about 3/4 cup)
- 1 clove garlic, smashed
- 1/4 medium onion, about 1/2 cup
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/3 cup orzo or other small pasta or egg noodles or broken up spaghetti
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth (1 quart box, or 2 cans)
- Small handful fresh parsley leaves, basil or dill, chopped (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 lemon, juiced (about 1 tablespoon)
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Serving suggestion: Whole-wheat crackers and cheese sticks

- 6 chicken thighs, skinless
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can crushed tomatoes in thick puree
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon lemon-pepper

- 1/4 cup flour, for dredging
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (3 to 4-pound) chicken, cut into pieces, rinsed and dried
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 10-ounces cremini mushrooms, quartered
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 large red bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes in juice
- 4 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves or 4 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves picked
