Chili

Brown hamburger; add onion soup mix
- 2 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 1 lg. can chili beans
- Chili powder
Rhubarb Custard Cake

Mix rhubarb with sugar and set aside
- 4 c. chopped rhubarb
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 pint whipping cream
Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mix well. Drop on cookie sheet; flatten some
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. Crisco
- 4 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- Mix well. Drop on cookie sheet; flatten some. Bake at 350 for 10 min. until light brown.
Orange Salad

Add 1 can pineapple, drained 1 can mandarin oranges, drained 1 8 oz
- 1 pkg. orange jello
- 1 pkg. tapioca pudding mix
- 1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
- 2 c. water; part juice
- cook until thick; then cool.
- Add 1 can pineapple, drained
- 1 can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 8 oz. Cool whip
Sesame Chicken

Cut the chicken into 1-in cubes
- Marinade:
- 3 whole boneless chicken breasts cut up and floured
- 2 Tbl light soy sauce
- 1 Tbl cooking wine or dry sherry
- a few drops of sesame oil
- Sauce for Sesame Chicken:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/8 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbl soy sauce
- 2 Tbl sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic
- Other:
- 2 Tbl sesame seeds
- 3 1/2 - 4 cups oil for deep-frying
Parmesan Potatoes

Preheat oven to 375; melt butter in 10x6 dish
- 4 med. Baking potatoes, scrubbed, not peeled
- 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper
Toll House Pan Bars

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Lemon Custard Cake

Tear angel food cake into pieces
- 1 prepared angel food cake
- 1 pkg. instant lemon pudding
- 1 1/2 c. cold milk
- 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
Cherry Crisp

Spread cherry filling in pan
- 1 can cherry pie filing
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 T. oatmeal
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. chopped nuts
Finger Jello

Mix together and put in 9x13 pan; put in refrigerator
- 3 pkgs. Knox gelatin
- Dissolve in 1 c. cold water
- 3 sm. or 1 big pkg. jello
- 1/2 c. sugar
- Dissolve in 2 c. boiling water
- Mix together and put in 9x13 pan; put in refrigerator. Cut in squares when thick.
