Butternut Squash Dip with Tahini and Pine Nuts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1-3 to 3 1/2 lb. butternut squash or pumkin
- 1/4 c. olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tsp. fine sea salt
- 3/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 T. roughly chopped fresh oregano or 2 tsp. dried
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 T. tahini
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3/4 c. crumbled feta cheese
- 2 T. toasted pine nuts
Chocolate Pizza

Microwave chips and 14 ounces almond bark on high for 2 minutes
- 1 (12-oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 lb. white almond bark
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 (6-oz.) jar red marashino cherries, cut in 1/2
- 3 T. green maraschino cherries, quartered
- 1 c. peanuts
- 1/3 c. flake coconut
- 1 tsp. oil
Heath Bar Cake

Cream sugar, flour and oleo until crumbly
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 6 Heath bars
- 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Date-Nut Pudding Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. oleo
Strawberry/Rhubarb Preserves

Stir often; boil 40 minutes
- 2 lb. cut-up rhubarb
- 1 pint fresh, ripe strawberries, sliced or mashed
- 11 oz. bottle Karo syrup, light
- 1 can (med. size) crushed pineapple
- 6 c. sugar
Sweet Potato Bake

Cook potatoes with skins; then peel and mash
- Topping:
- 3 c. yams
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Pumpkin Bread

Cream sugar, eggs and oil
- 3 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c oil
- 2 c pumpkin
- 3 1/3 c flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 2 tsp baking soda
Rhubarb Jam

Stir together; put on low fire
- 4 c. rhubarb, cut up
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 c. shredded pineapple (1 small can)
- 1 pkg. strawberry Jell-o
Blushing Banana & Apricot

- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 2 c. Minute Rice
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 lb. jar mushrooms
- 2 (8-oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- Dash pepper
