Rhubarb Custard Pie

Cut the rhubarb in small pieces
- Topping:
- 2 1/2 c. rhubarb
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- Pinch salt
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 2 T. butter
Applesauce Cake

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, which has been well beaten
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. dates, cut fine
- 1 1/2 c. applesauce
- 1 c. nutmeats, chopped
- 2 c. raisins
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
Broccoli Rice Casserole

Add Cheez Whiz to hot cooked rice
- 1 bag frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)
- 1 medium-size onion (chopped)
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 soup can milk
- 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. rice
Tuna Noodle Casserole

Cook and drain noodles. In large bowl with noodles, mix 1 can cream of mushroom and potato soup
- 1-1 lb. bag noodles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of potato soup
- 2-7 oz. cans tuna
- 1 can peas
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. potato chips (optional)
- 2 About 2 c. milk
Watergate Cake

Combine and mix at medium speed for 4 minutes
- Topping:
- 1 white cake mix
- 1 pkg. instant pistachio or lemon pudding
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. 7-up or club soda
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 pkg. instant pistachio or lemon pudding
- 1 1/4 c. cold milk
- 1 lg. container Cool Whip
Sugar Softies

Stir together flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. lemon or vanilla
- 2 T. milk
Emma's Coffee Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- TOPPING:
- 2 c bisquick
- 2/3 c milk
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 c bisquick
- 1/2 c brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 T butter, softened, but not melted

- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/3 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 c. applesauce

- 2 1/4 c. clour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. soft margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-o vanilla instant pudding/pie filling
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. (12 oz) chocolate chips
Connie's Beef Stew

- 3 lbs. beef cubes
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt

- 8 carrots, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 celery ribs
- 1 (16-oz) jar sm. onions
- 1/3 c. cold water
- 3 T. flour
