Barb's Angel Food Cake

Mix egg whites and salt in large bowl
- 1 1/8 c. sifted cake flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. egg whites
- 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond
Chili Cheese Dip

Soften cream cheese in microwave
- 1 can canned chili
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 4 oz. pkg. shredded cheese
- Bag of tortilla chips
- Optional: horseradish
- Optional: Jar of jalapeno peppers
Chicken Casserole

Mix above ingredients and pour into a 9x12-inch Pyrex dish
- 2 c. cooked chicken
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (7 oz) pkg. Creamettes
- Onion
- 2 c. (8 oz pkg) grated cheese
- Pimentos
- 2 c. milk
Cherry Delight

- 1 c. cherry pie filling
- 1 c. chunk pineapple, drained
- 1 c. marshmallows
- 8 bananas
Beef Stew

Thoroughly brown meat on all sides in hot fat
- 2 lbs. beef, cubed
- 2 T. oil
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 1 to 2 bay leaves
- 1 T. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- Dash allspice or cloves
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 10 sm. white onions
- 6 potatoes, cubed
Beefy Mushroom

Place beef, onion soup mix and black pepper in bowl; then mix well
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 pkg dry beef onion soup mix
- Black pepper
- 4 c beef broth
- 1/4 c cornstarch
- Sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Oil
Lite Cherry Angel Food Cake

Mix together dry cake mix with pie filling until well blended
- 1 pkg. 1-step angel food cake mix
- 1 can light cherry pie filling
Parmesan Appetizer Log

Combine cream cheese, Parmesan and garlic; blend well
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 T. finely chopped green pepper
- 2 T. finely chopped pimento
- 1/4 c. parsley or chopped pecans
Chili Con Queso

Saute onions in butter in saucepan or electric fondue pot
- 1 sm. onion, chopped
- 2 T. butter
- 1-15 oz. can tomatoes, drained
- 1 can chopped green chilies
- 2 T. picante sauce, optional
- 1 1/2 T. cornstarch
- 1 lb. Velveeta
Vegetable Beef Soup

Cook the stew meat, beef broth, salt, pepper and garlic in the crock pot
- 4 lbs lean stew meat
- 4 c beef broth
- Salt, pepper and garlic
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 regular-size bag baby carrots, cut into bite-size
- 1 can butter beans, drained
- 1 can lima beans, drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 c V-8 or tomato juice
- Salt and pepper
