Fritter Batter

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt
- 1 1/3 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
Irish Soda Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 c. white flour
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 bit less than 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Bok Choy or Napa Cabbage Salad

Mix dressing ingredients. (Speed mixer will thicken dressing
- Salad:
- 1 head Bok Choy or Napa cabbage, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 pkg. ramen noodles
- 4 oz. slivered or sliced almonds
- 1 T. butter
- Dressing:
- 1/3 c. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. olive oil
- 2 T. soy sauce
Perfection Salad

Mix gelatin, sugar and salt
- 2 env. unflavored Knox gelatin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 T. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 c. celery
- 1/4 c. pimento
- 1/2 c. green pepper
Mustard Pickles

Remove leaves from cauliflower and break into small pieces
- 2 lg. cauliflower's
- 4 big cucumbers (seeded and chopped medium-fine)
- 8 green peppers (seeded and chopped medium-fine)
- 3 medium-size onions (diced med.)
- 2/3 c. salt
- 2 qts. water
- 1 c. flour
- 2 c. flour
- 2 T. powdered mustard
- 1 T. turmeric
- 5 c. vinegar
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. water
Refrigerator Mashed Potatoes

Cook potatoes with salt as usual; drain
- 5 lbs. potatoes
- 2-3 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- Hot milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 T. butter
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Salt
Cranberry Salad

Dissolve Jell-o in water. Mix all other ingredients together and add to Jell-o
- 2 pkgs. lemon Jell-o
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 lb. cranberries, ground
- 2 T. grated orange peel
- 3 oranges cut in small pieces
- 1 c. crushed pineapple (fruit and juice)
- 2 c. sugar
Pineapple Salad

Cook dressing; will get like thick pudding
- Dressing:
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, sm. cubed
- 1 lb marshmallow bits
- 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 T. flour
- Cool Whip
Club Chicken Casserole

Preheat oven to 350. In saucepan, melt butter or oleo and add flour; blend
- 1/4 c. butter or olea
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 (14 1/2-oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. long-grain rice, cooked
- 2 1/2 c. cooked chicken, diced
- 1 (3-oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. canned pimientos, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Asparagus Broccoli And Beef Stir-Fry

In a shallow, glass container, combine 2 teaspoons of oil, sugar, salt, half of the ginger and pepper
- 6 tsp canola oil, divided
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground ginger or 3 tsp minced fresh gingerroot, divided
- Dash of pepper
- 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 c beef broth
- 3 T soy sauce
- 1 T cider vinegar
- 1/2 to 3/4 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut
- 1 bunch fresh broccoli, cut
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1/4 c chopped green onions
- 4 c hot cooked rice
