Strawberry Dessert

Boil water. Mix with Jello until dissolved
- 1 whole Angel food cake
- 1 lg. box strawberry Jello
- 2 c. boiling water
- 20 oz. frozen sliced strawberries
- 12 oz. Cool Whip
Waldorf Apple Salad

Drain pineapple, reserve liquid
- 1 dozen apples, cubed
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- 1 dozen miniature marshmallows
- 3 beaten eggs
- 3 T. butter
- 1 c. Cool Whip
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 1 juice lemon or 2 T. Real lemon
- 1 lb. white grapes or 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Garlic Honey Brie Appetizer

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 13 oz wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. minced garlic
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced almonds
- 1 bag toasted French bread slices or bagel chips
Dill Pickle Surprise

- Shredded cabbage
- Sugar
- Salt
- Boiling water
Chicken Divan

Cook broccoli according to package directions
- 3 (10-oz) pkgs. frozen broccoli
- 6 to 8 chicken breasts, cooked tender and cut up
- 2 (10 3/4-oz) cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 c. shredded mild cheese
Stuffed Whole Lobsters

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- 2 (1 1/2 pound) live lobsters
- Fresh herbs: parsley, rosemary, thyme
- 4 T. butter
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 2 T. sliced scallions
- 2 handfuls crumbled buttery crackers
- Extra-virgin olive oil, for brushing and drizzling
Spinach Salad

Wash spinach, remove stems and tar leaves into bite-size pieces
- 1 1/2 lbs. spinach
- 1 clove garlic, slivered
- 3/4 c. salad oil
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash pepper
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
All-Occasion Chicken

Combine paprika, flour and salt in plastic bag and shake chicken pieces in it
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. cut up frying chicken (or bonless, skinless chicken breasts)
- 3/4 c. cubed ham
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 (8 oz) can undrained stewed tomatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. basil
Hot and Sour Soup

Cover mushrooms with warm water; let stand for 30 minutes
- 4 med-size dried mushrooms
- 1/4 lb. boneless lean pork, cut in match stick pieces
- 1 T. dry sherry
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, skinned, boned and cut in match stick pieces
- 1/4 lb Tofu, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
- 4 T. white wine vinegar
- 2 T. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 green onions, cut in 1-inch pieces and diagonally sliced
- 1/2 c. bamboo shoots, cut in match stick pieces
