Combine beans and 7 cups water in large saucepan
- 1 pound small dried navy or pea beans, picked over and rinsed
- 4 ounces lean bacon strips
- 3 ;/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup dark molasses
- 1/4 cup packed dark-brown sugar
- 2 Tbsps cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
- 1 tsp salt

- 3 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 6 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cup unsalted cashews
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- Add more water if necessary to thin sauce.
SLOW COOKER BEEF STEW

In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 12 ingredients
- 1 pound beef stew meat

- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

- 1 1/2 cups small macaroni shells
- ¼ cup thinly sliced celery
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 can (3 1/2 oz) tuna, drained and flaked
- 34 cup shredded cheddar cheese (3 oz)
- 1 pkg (9 oz) frozen cut green beans, cooked without salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 cup low-fat skim milk
CHILI DOG BACON CHEESEBURGERS AND FIERY FRIES

- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 4 kaiser rolls, split
- 1/4 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves

EGG AND PROSCIUTTO PANINI

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread; spread mustard on the other side of two slices
- 4 slices white or wheat bread, 1/2” thick
- Softened butter
- 2 Tbsps whole grain mustard
- 2 oz. Havarti cheese, thinly sliced

- 2 eggs
- 2 tsps Parmesan cheese, grated

- 1 1/2 cups undiluted evaporated milk (12 oz)
GRILLED CUMIN CHICKEN WITH FRESH TOMATILLO SAUCE

I actually cheated and used the Tomatillo sauce from the can for this recepe
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 (6-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/2 pound tomatillos
- 1/2 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray
CARROT BROCCOLI SOUP
