"Ollie-bollen, or (Oliebollen) is a dutch pastry similar to a doughnut
- 1 (0.6 ounce) cake compressed fresh yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm milk
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup dried currants
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1 Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and finely chopped
- 1 quart vegetable oil for deep-frying
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting
Bacon Chicken Potato Casserole

Preheat oven to 400º F and lightly grease a baking dish with non-stick spray
- 2 2 2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs (or breasts)
- 8 8 8 potatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 1 1 cup crispy bacon, crumbled

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and dust muffin tins with flour or line with paper muffin cups
- 8 ounces Marin French Camembert or Petite Camembert, cut into 1/4-1/2 pieces
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, basil, or chives, chopped
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 ounces lemon juice
- 2 cups mayonnaise, good quality

- 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard (recommended: Pommeray)
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce

Cronuts- Salted Caramel Crescent Doughnuts

In deep fryer or 2-quart heavy saucepan, heat oil over medium heat to 350°F
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 snack-size container (4 oz) vanilla pudding
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher (coarse) salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Milk
- Additional caramel sauce, if desired

- 1 cup white or yellow stone-ground grits
- 3 ⁄4 cup grated cheddar

- 2/3 cup non fat dry milk powder
- 2 tablespoons dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter , melted
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 5 -5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 to 1/2 about 1/4 to 1/2 cup additional butter for inside and top of rolls
