"LEMON BUTTER CAKE

DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350°F
- CAKE:
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon butter extract (optional; it pumps up the butter flavor of the cake)
- 1 (3.4 ounce) box instant vanilla or lemon pudding mix
- SAUCE:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (from 1-2 lemons)
- Zest of one lemon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Asian Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps

1. Rinse whole lettuce leaves and pat dry, being careful not tear them
- 16 Boston Bibb or Butter Lettuce Leaves
- 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
- 1 Large Onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce
- 2 Teaspoons Minced Pickled Ginger (i Just Used Fresh Ginger and I Bet You Could Even Use a Teaspoon of Ground Ginger)
- 1 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar
- Asian Chile Pepper Sauce (optional – I Didn’t Use It)
- 1 Can Water Chestnuts (8 ounce) drained and finely chopped
- 1 Bunch Green Onions, chopped
- 2 Teaspoons Asian Sesame Oil

Buy 4 slabs of whole spareribs and trim to St
- RUB:
- 4 Slabs Pork Spareribs, , 3 1/2 to 4 pounds each
- 1/3 Cup Table Salt
- 1/4 Cup Paprika
- 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 1 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Cayenne
- Combine, all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Makes about 1 cup

- 1 9-inch pie crust (or this homemade pie dough)
- 2 cups (250gr) pecan halves, coarsely chopped
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup (240ml) light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (100gr) light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 4 tablespoons (55gr) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Kahlua (or any other coffee-flavored liqueur, or pure vanilla extract)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F
- 4 rolls of your choice (I bought mine, but may I suggest these brioche buns)
- 8 slices high quality bacon, cooked until crisp
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, plus more for the rolls
- 2 shallots, sliced thinly
- 8 large slices of apple, sliced very thinly
- 4 slices high quality cheese (I used an aged white cheddar, but Havarti or Swiss would be great)
- 6-7 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons crème fraiche or sour cream

Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth
- 1 Can Tomatoes (28-ounce, or about a pound of fresh Roma tomatoes, peeled and chopped)

- 2 tablespoons (15g) cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk whole preferred, but any percentage is fine
- 1/2 cup (3oz) semisweet chocolate chopped (good-quality chocolate chips are fine)

BOLOGNESE SAUCE, SLOW COOKER

Instructions Bring a large stockpot of water to boil
- 2 1/2 pounds fresh tomatoes (see note)
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced or coarsely grated
- 2 stalks celery, finely diced or coarsely grated
- 2 medium carrots, finely diced or coarsely grated
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 21/2 - 3 pounds ground beef (I used 85% lean) (see note)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning, 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1-28 ounce can San Marzano tomatoes
- 1-14 ounce can diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 bay leaves
- 1-2 parmesan rinds
- 1/4 cup parsley, roughly chopped (plus more for serving)
- 3/4 cup half and half (or heavy cream!)
