Butter Chicken For One - chicken cooked in a wonderful blend of Indian spices
- FOR THE MARINADE:
- 1 1 1-inch boneless, skinless chicken breast , cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sour cream , (or Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tablespoon turmeric
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tablespoon Garam masala *see notes
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- FOR THE BUTTER CHICKEN:
- 2 2 2 tablespoons butter , divided
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 1 1 clove garlic , minced
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 1 1 cup cooked rice

- 1 pound shaved deli roast beef (or Italian Beef if it’s available) sliced thin
- 4 hoagie or Italian rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 3 cups beef broth/stock
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flake
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonaise
- 1/4 cup A1 Steak Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter
