- 1/2 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed and drained
- 3 14 - ounce can chicken broth
- 1 cup chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup chopped celery

- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- Snipped fresh chives (optional)
Kielbasa Cheese Soup

In a 4-quart Dutch oven, cook onion and celery in hot butter or margarine until tender
- 1 large onion, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
