Basic Pizza Dough

Makes 1 10 inch crust
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- flour for dusting
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 6 tablespoons lukewarm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Whole Wheat Banana Bread - No Yeast

A healthy bread that doesn't require yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Crab & Corn Bisque

Weight Watchers Recipe - 3 pts a serving, makes 4 servings
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 14 3/4 oz canned cream-style white corn
- 1 1/2 cup fat free chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon sherry cooking wine
- 1/2 tablespoon dijion mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 pieces bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 6 oz lump crabmeat
- 2 tablespoon reduced fat milk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- s&p to taste
Kahlua Frosting

- 1 Pound Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Kahlua
- 1 Tablespoon Soft Butter
Lemon-Rosemary Chicken Breast

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, divided
- 4 (8 oz) bone in chicken breast halves, skinned
- 1 1/2 cups fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 rosemary spring
Tara's Meatloaf

Amazing meatloaf that is ACTUALLY moist
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage (can substitute 1/4 teaspoon dried sage)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped (can substitute 1/ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs or 3 slices bread torn into small pieces. I use seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato paste or ketchup
- Optional: 1/4 finely chopped green pepper
Peanut Butter Cutouts

A great way to change up the traditional holiday cutout cookies
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine (I use "I can't believe it's not butter light)
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Decorative toppings as desired. (Frosting, candies, jimmies, etc)
Breakfast Kashi Pilaf

Yummy replacement for oatmeal! Add more fiber by adding diced apples and chopped walnuts or almonds
- 2 Cups apple cider
- 2 Cups Kashi pilaf
White Sangria

- 4 cups dry white wine
- 1/2 cup amaretto or flavored brandy
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 nectarine, pitted & sliced
- 1 apricot, pitted & sliced
- 1 cup cherries, pitted & sliced
Skinny Sausage Pizza

Cook yourself thin
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup organic tomato sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
- 1 link precooked chicken basil sausage
- 1/2 a jarred roasted red pepper or 4 strips, chopped
- 4 oz prepared pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped scallion
- 1 teaspoon coarsely chopped fresh basil
- salt & pepper, to taste
