Roasting instructions for veggies
- Toss with seasoning before serving. Select from:
- Directions are for 2 lbs of veggies tossed in 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- S&P
- Grated lemon peel or orange peel
- Cheddar or Parmesan Cheese
- Chopped dried rosemary or dill or mint or basil or parsley
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Fresh lemon juice
- Brown Sugar
- Cider Vinegar
- Olive Oil
Banana Bread

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of one 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pan; set aside
- 2 cups plus 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (4-5 medium)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cooking oil or melted butter
- 1/4 cup plus 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Basic Whole Grain Cookies

Think healthy chocolate chip cookies!
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, light or dark, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup White whole wheat flour or traditional whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup quick rolled oats, ground in food processor
- 2 tablespoons orange juice, optional (use only if using add-ins such as chips, nuts, fruit, etc)
- 2 cups chips, nuts, and/or dried fruit (optional)
Vanilla Rich Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 package (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Basic Pasta Dough

Celery Root and Potato Latkes

- 1 cup warm water
