  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • MERINGE:
  • Beat egg whites until stiff.
  • Add 1 cup brown sugar and mix thoroughly.
