- Garlic (chopped or finely slice)
- Fresh Thai chili ( sambal oelek, the ground fresh chili past as a substitution)
- Thai basil (most important, 5-10 leaves)
- Meat (your choice: chicken, beef, pork, prawns or seafood, abt 200gr)
- Oyster sauce (1 T)
- Soy sauce (1 T)
- Fish Sauce (1 T)
- Sugar (optional, 1/2 T)
- Vegetable (onion, carrot, red and green peppers)
Jambalaya

- 2 t Vegetable oil
- 1/2 lb skinless boneless chicken breast cut into bite sized pieces
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t black pepper
- 3 links Andouille Sausage, thinly sliced
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1/2 c chopped green bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 c long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 2 3/4 c chicken broth
- 2 t paprika
- 1/2 t dried thyme
- 1/4 t cayenne pepper
- 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 3/4 lb large shrimp, deveined & chopped
- 1/4 c thinly sliced green onions

- 1 lemon,
- 1 lime
- 1 orange
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup packed dark-brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs mixed nuts from the bulk & bins section (walnuts, pecans, almonds, & cashews)
- 1 bag (6 ounces) dried apricots, each cut into quarters
Edamame & Lima Bean Salad

1.For the salad Remove peas from shells and cook in boiling salted water
- Salad:
- 1 cup edamame, shelled
- 1 cup lima beans
- 2 green onions, minced
- 1 cup charred asparagus
- white balsamic vinaigrette to taste
- 1 ⁄4 cup Gruyère cheese, shaved
- Charred asparagus:
- 1 cup asparagus, chopped into 1⁄4-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- sea salt & freshly ground pepper, to taste
- red chili pepper flakes, to taste
- White balsamic vinaigrette:
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh ground pepper
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
- 3 ⁄4 cup olive oil
- 4 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
