Farmhouse Chicken

Instructions: 1. Saute onion, and prepare stuffing mix according to package directions and set aside

- BANANA CARROT SMOOTHIE:
- 1 ripe banana, frozen is ok
- 1 cup apple juice (or apple slices and water)
- 1-2 cups baby carrots (or chopped carrots)
- 1 cup plain non-fat yogurt (or any yogurt you like)
- GREEN SLIME SMOOTHIE:
- 1 banana, cut in chunks
- 1/2 apple, cored and chopped or sliced
- 1 cup white grapes
- 1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt (or plain yogurt and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla)
- 1-2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- GO GREEN SMOOTHIE:
- 2 very ripe pears, cored and sliced or chopped
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- SUPER KALE WEIGHT LOSS SMOOTHIE:
- 1 cup kale, washed & chopped
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1-2 bananas
- 1 whole carrot or 5/6 baby carrots
- 1 cup yogurt of choice or almond milk
- 1 single serve of splenda (optional)
- 1 cup orange juice
- Ice
- FRUITY KALE:
- 1 cup kale, chopped
- 1 banana
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 cup apple juice
- POWER FRUIT SMOOTHIE:
- 1 ripe banana

- Frozen blueberries

- MY LITTLE AUDREY'S FAVORITE:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 handful frozen blueberries
- 2 dollops yogurt
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 handful peeled cucumber
- BANANA OATMEAL SMOOTHIE:
- 1 medium banana
- 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon flax seed
- 1/4 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup soy milk

- 1 scoop of whey protein powder

- 1 1/2 frozen banana chunks
- 1/2 avocado
- Enough apple juice that it will blend smooth

- 3/4 cup frozen black and blueberries
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup non-fat plain yogurt

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Sprinkle the yeast over the warm water, and let stand for 5 minutes, or until foamy
- 2 (.25 ounce) envelopes active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
- 1 1/2 cups lukewarm milk
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 tablespoons hot water or as needed
Homemade Veggie Cream Cheese

mix the grated/diced vegetables in with the cream cheese, and season with salt and pepper
- cream cheese - 8 ounces
- green onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- carrot - 1/2 cup, freshly grated
- celery - 1/4 cup, finely diced
- garlic - 2 cloves, finely diced
- salt and pepper - 1/4 teaspoon each
- radish - 1/8 cup, grated

Really Really Good Candied Sweet Potatoes

- 2 lbs sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Strawberry and Peach Ice Pops

1. In a blender or food processor mix ingredients for the strawberry and peach layers separately
- For the strawberry layer:
- 2 cups coarsely chopped ripe strawberries (1⁄2 pound)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 ⁄4 cup water
- For the peach layer:
- 2 cups thin peach slices, unpeeled (3⁄4 pound)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 ⁄2 cup low-fat buttermilk

This is similar to many Baked Pasta dishes but with the distinct flavors of pizza
- 1/2 pound bow tie pasta
- 1/2 pound Jimmy Dean sausage, 'country mild' (or other flavor if desired)
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 2 jars (13 ounce) spaghetti sauce (I used Bertolli's Tomato & Basil)
- 1/4 pound cooked ham, cubed
- 1/4 - 1/2 pound pepperoni, sliced
- 3 bags (4 ounce) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
