Apple Bacon Cheddar Bake

Coat apples with sugar. Place apples in a 9 x13 baking dish (ungreased), top witha layer of cheese and bacon

- 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 lb bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2 cups bisquick
- 2 cups milk
- 5 eggs

- 8 ounces high-quality semisweet chocolate, broken into pieces
- 2 teaspoons canola oil, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract, divided
- 8 ounces high-quality white chocolate, broken into pieces
- 25 peppermint candies, crushed
Lemon Pound Cake

Bake @ 350 degrees about 50 minutes Beat eggs until lemon-colored and thick
- 4 eggs
- 1 pkg lemon cake mix with pudding in the mix
- 1 3 oz box instant lemon pudding
- 3/4 c water
- 1/3 c veg. oil or light olive oil
- Lemon Glaze
- Heat 1 c powdered sugar and 1/4 c lemon juice to boiling.
Creamy Squash Soup

combine squash, onion, carrots, broth and salt
- 2 lbs butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch pieces.
- 1 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 (13 3/4 oz) cans of chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 TBS butter
- 1/2 cup light cream or heavy cream
