this can be done on the stove or slow cooker
- 3-4 pound roast
- 2 parts water*
- 1 part white vinegar*
- 1 onion chopped
- 2-3 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp ground cloves
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- salt & pepper
- flour (to make gravy)
- ie: 2 cups water to 1 cup vinegar - increase both within this same ratio if you want more gravy, and add a bit more ketchup / garlic.
Chocolate Empanadas (Melissa D'Arabian)

In a medium bowl, using a hand mixer, cream the butter and cream cheese together until light and creamy
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
- 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons chocolate-hazelnut spread (recommended: Nutella)
- Water, as needed
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

- 1 1/4 1 peel from 1 large lemon (about 1/4 cup juice and 1 teaspoon peel)
