  • 1 large green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded, halved widthwise, and cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

  • 1 3/4 c. shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds
  • 12 about 12 oz. sweetened condensed milk (not quite one can)

  • 1/2 cup masa harina
  • 3 cups shredded white Cheddar, for garnish
  • 2 bunches chopped chives, for garnish
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream, for garnish

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 large eggs
  • Two of my favorites are Lindt Courante and Tobler Extra Bittersweet. If using Courante chocolate, add 1/3 cup sugar to the eggs while beating. If using the extra bittersweet, add 3 tablespoons sugar.
