Dessert - Apple Dumplings

Combine flour, baking powder, salt in large mixing bowl
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbls. butter, softened
- 1 Tbls. shortening
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 Tbls. brown sugar
- 6 tart apples, peeled, cored, and chopped rather fine

Tastes just like Dutch Apple Pie
- Crumb Topping (mix until crumbly):
- 4 cup zucchini (peel, cut lengthwise, scoop out seeds, slice to resemble apple slices)
- 1-1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 Tbls. Butter
- 1 Tbls. Lemon Juice
- 1-1/4 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbls. Flour
- Dash nutmeg
- 1 – 9” unbaked pie shell
- 1 stick butter/margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- Cook zucchini in a small amount of water for 10 minutes. Drain.
- Mix cream of tartar, 2T flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, 1-1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon. Fold into cooked zucchini.

- Topping:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 – 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
- Mix all ingredients together and mix with spoon (not mixer). Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until center is done.
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 can (5.5 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup coconut
- Combine butter, sugar, milk in small saucepan. Cook 5 minutes. Add nuts and coconut. Spoon on cake while hot.

- 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 2 Tbls. parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
- 2 Tbls. minced onion (dried)
- 1-1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef

- 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 pkg. white cake mix
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup Nestle strawberry quick drink mix(do not substitute jello!)
- 1 teas. Vanilla
- 3/4 cup Nestle chocolate quick drink mix

- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup butter cubed
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz) chicken broth
- 1 cup cubed peeled potatoes
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- 1/4 cup Clamato juice
- 1/4 teas lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can (6 oz) crabmeat, drained, flaked, cartilage removed
- 1 cup cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 5 hard cooked eggs
- 1 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1-1/2 cups mayonnaise

- 1/2 tsp. sat
- 1/4 tsp. pepper

- 12 corn tortillas

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Monterey jack cheese
