Date & Nut Cake

Bake at 350 for 3/4 - 1 hour
- Cream:
- 1 cup or alittle more Dates
- 2 Tsp Soda sprinkled over dates
- 1 cup hot water over dates and soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 cups flour
- Add:
- beaten egg whites, 1 cup nuts and 3 tsp vanilla

In a small saucepan, melt the butter with the brown sugar over medium heat
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3/4 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips

Mix flour, butter and powdered sugar and pat into 8" square pan and bake 20 minutes at 350
- Icing:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 eggs , beaten
- 2 Tbls lemon juice
- Lemon Rind
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbls flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tbls butter
- 1 Tbls milk

- Melt together and pour over bars:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Karo Syrup Boil together
- 1 cup peanut butter Blend in
- 6 cups Rice Krispies Add
- 1 cup chocolate chips

- 1 18 1/4 oz. german chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pretzels
- 1 egg, lightly beaten

- 1 can (10-3/4 oz) Cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp pepper
