Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 43 ounces canned whole peeled plum tomatoes (from a 28-ounce can and a 15-ounce can)
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cups part-skim ricotta cheese, room temperature
- 1 box (12 ounces) no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1/2 pound fresh mozzarella, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated pecorino or Parmesan cheese

1. wash and soal beans overnight in cold water overnight
- 1/2 pound great northern beans
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 1/4 butter
- 1 1/4 c chopped carrot
- 2 1/2 c chopped celery

- 4 qts chicken stock
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 T salt
- 1 clove garlic crushed

- For the sauce
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce, preferably Japanese or reduced sodium
- 1/2 cup mirin sweet rice wine, or 1/2 cup sake with 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped peeled ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 4 whole black peppercorns
- For the meatballs
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 large or 6 small scallions, finely chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped about 1 cup
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Vegetable oil

- SLOW COOKER
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 (14.5-ounce) cans Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained*
- 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 2 (4 oz.) cans mild diced green chilies
- 1 (15 oz.) can petite diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can cream style corn
- 1-2 jalapeños, seeded and minced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 tsp EACH chili powder, ancho chili powder, salt
- 1/2 tsp EACH smoked paprika, dried oregano
- BLENDER INGREDIENTS (ADD LATER)
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained*
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened (I use 1/3 less fat)
- 1/4 cup loosely packed cilantro

- 2 tablespoons salted butter*
- 6 cloves garlic, finely diced
- 1 pound (500 g) shrimp (or prawns) -- tails on or off
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 cup white wine (OPTIONAL)
- 5 oz (150 g) jarred sun dried tomato strips in oil, drained
- 1 3/4 cups half and half (or milk -- reduced fat, skim or full fat milk)* *SEE NOTES
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cups baby spinach leaves
- 2/3 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese (do not include for dairy free option)
