Cauliflower Soup

Peel and dice the potaoes and carrots
- 1/2 caulifower
- 2 large carrots
- 2 med potatoes
- 2 knorr stock cubes (1 beef,1 chicken, or 2 veg)
- 1 litre water
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tbsp table cream
Beef With Red Wine Sauce

Place first 3 ingredients in a 6-quart slow cooker
- 3 pounds boneless beef chuck roast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms, halved
- 1 (1.61-ounce) package brown gravy mix
- 1 (10 1/2-ounce) can beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf
- Hot cooked egg noodles or rice
- Garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Asian Chicken and Noodles

Cook and drain fettuccine
- 8 oz uncooked fettuccine
- 1 lb chicken breast cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 bag fresh stirfry or chop suey vegs (about 5 cups)
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 c hoisin sauce
Carrot Cake

Combine sugar and oil. Beat in eggs one at a time
- frosting:
- 2 c packed brown sugar
- 1 c veg oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 c grated carrots
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese at room temp
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 c icing sugar, sifted
Nut Crusted Chicken Breasts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Poke each breast 5 times
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup roughly chopped almonds or walnuts
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 sm onion minced
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tsp thyme leaves minced
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup flour
Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin

Stab your tenderloin along oop edge every 1-2 inches
- 2 - lb pork tenderloin ( or two 1 lb pieces)
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 1oz envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup water\
- 3/4 c beef broth
- 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
